Terms and Conditions
Last updated 27 August 2026. These terms govern your use of findmysurveyor.com and the quote and matching service we provide.
1. Who we are
Find My Surveyor ("we", "us", "our") operates findmysurveyor.com from Chesil House, Arrow Close, Boyatt Wood, Eastleigh, SO50 4SY, United Kingdom. We are an introduction and booking service: we connect you with qualified, vetted surveyors, RICS Registered Valuers and accredited assessors ("professionals") for property surveys, valuations and related reports. By using this website or submitting a quote request, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Our service
Our quote and matching service is free for you to use, with no obligation. When you submit a request, we compare the professionals available near your property on price, availability and suitability, and introduce you to the one we consider the best match. We work with professionals directly to obtain your quote. Every professional in our network is qualified, vetted and registered with the relevant recognised professional bodies.
3. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are prepared from the information you give us, including property type, size, value and location. The price you are quoted is the price you pay for the service described, with no hidden fees. If the information you provide is materially inaccurate or incomplete, the quote may need to be revised before or after inspection. Where prices are shown on the website (for example "from £299"), these are indicative starting prices and your confirmed quote applies.
4. Promotions and vouchers
Promotional offers, including voucher rewards, apply only during the advertised period, are limited to one per household or completed instruction, cannot be exchanged for cash and may be withdrawn or amended at any time. Vouchers are issued after the relevant survey or valuation has completed and been paid for in full.
5. Your contract for the survey or valuation
The survey, valuation or report itself is carried out by the matched professional under their own terms of engagement, which they will confirm with you directly before the inspection. Your contract for the professional work is with them, not with us. Reports are produced to the standards of the relevant professional body, and the professional carries their own professional indemnity insurance.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information about the property and your requirements, to arrange access for the inspection at the agreed time, and to tell us promptly if your circumstances change. If an inspection cannot go ahead because access was not arranged, a rebooking fee may apply under the professional's terms.
7. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel a booking free of charge at any time before the inspection takes place, unless the professional's terms of engagement state otherwise. Where we advertise a money-back guarantee (for example, if a compliant report is rejected by the body it was prepared for), we will arrange for the report to be corrected or refund the fee you paid in full. This guarantee does not apply where a rejection results from inaccurate information you provided.
8. Marketing and communications
We will contact you about your quote and booking. We only send discounts and recommended provider offers if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Statement.
9. Website content and intellectual property
Content on this website is provided for general information and is not professional advice; always rely on the report prepared for you. All content, branding and design on this website belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. We aim to keep the website available and accurate but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with our introduction and booking service is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Responsibility for the professional work in your report sits with the professional who produced it, under their terms and insurance.
11. Complaints
If something is not right, contact us at support@findmysurveyor.com and we will work to put it right quickly. Complaints about the professional work itself are handled under the professional's own complaints procedure, which RICS-regulated firms are required to operate.
12. General
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page applies at the time you use the service. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
